The 2021 Proctor Rails baseball team set a new school record for defensive assists in a season, with 219. The previous team record was 216, set in 2011. The 2021 team also tied the school record of 788 total defensive chances (put outs + assists + errors), which was set in 2012.

• The 2021 team had 77 stolen bases. This ranks second in school history behind the 1980 team that stole 81 bases. For perspective, here are the Top Five team stolen bases rankings: 1.) 81, 1980; 2.) 77, 2021; 3.) 58, 2011; 4.) 53, 2012; 5.) 52, 1977 and 2000.
• The 2021 team hit 45 doubles, one shy of tying the record set in 2011, to become the fourth team on record (1976-1990; 2000-present) to hit 40 or more doubles in a season.
