Grant Walker has been named to the 2021 All-Section 7AA Team. Walker, a junior, posted an 8-1 win-loss record and a 2.40 ERA in 49 and two-thirds innings pitched. He made 10 pitching appearances with nine starts, four complete games, and one shutout. He had 29 strikeouts compared to 19 walks. He led the Rails in wins, win percentage, games, games started, complete games, shutouts, innings pitched, and strikeouts. His eight wins in a season is tied for second in school records. (Jake Lewis had eight wins in both 2011 and 2012. Dale Nikko holds the record: 10 wins in 1977.)
