PROCTOR -- Ryan McCarthy connected for a two-run home run in the second inning in the Rails' 12-0 win over Moose Lake-Willow River on Thursday, May 3, at Proctor for his ninth career home run.

He broke the school record of eight set by Mark Kieren in 1986 and tied by Mike Pehl in 2002.

It was his second homer of the 2012 season. He hit seven last year.

 

McCarthy ended his prep career with 12 home runs.
