Proctor, the #4 seed, defeated #13 Moose Lake-Willow River, 12-4, before falling to #5 Rock Ridge, 8-5, at Wade Stadium last Tuesday. The Rails bounced back to win two games at Superior last Thursday: vs. #9 Rush City, 14-2 in five innings, and vs. #5 Rock Ridge, 10-7.

Aitkin, the #3 seed, defeated #14 Milaca, 8-1, and #11 Pequot Lakes, 1-0, at Proctor last Tuesday. The Gobblers then lost to #2 Duluth Marshall, 3-2, before defeating #11 Pequot Lakes, 9-1, on Thursday at Proctor.
