'Jacks stay unbeaten

CLOQUET -- Undefeated Cloquet scored two runs in the fourth inning and eight in the fifth Thursday and hammered Proctor 10-0 in a Lake Superior Conference baseball game.

The Lumberjacks, 4-0 in the LSC and 6-0 overall, benefitted from four walks and also had four hits in the eight-run fifth. Dennis Roy had a two-run triple and Greg Kolodge a two-run single.

Winning pitcher Keith Levinski gave up five hits, walked one and struck out two. Cloquet had six hits off two Proctor pitchers.
