Rails thump Greyhounds
Tim Norton unloaded a three-run double in the second inning to give pitcher Dale Nikko all the runs he needed as Proctor trounced visiting East 7-2 in high school baseball Tuesday.
The Rails, 4-2, finished with four runs in the second. Norton, who also had a single, scored on one of Bill Kuzas' two hits.
Jay Nelson gave Proctor a 2-0 lead in the first inning with a two-run single. Nikko, 2-1, fired a four-hitter and struck out 10.
