Eric Kindgren drove in the eventual winning run with a single in the bottom of the sixth inning as Proctor won a Lake Superior Conference home game. Scott Larson had a three-run first-inning home run for the Rails.

Winning pitcher Mike LaLonde went three innings and gave up two hits. Proctor is 2-1.

Derek Plante had two hits for Cloquet.
