Broncos defeat Proctor

International Falls had 20 hits in a 15-7 high school baseball win over Proctor on Saturday at Bulldog Park in Duluth.

The Broncos' hitting leaders were Mike Wilson (4-for-4), Dean Kuckkahn (3-for-4) and Garrett Seagars (three hits). Kuckkahn and Seagars each had three RBIs.

Winning pitcher Brett Bahr had 10 strikeouts.

Kyle Wojtysiak had two hits for the Rails.

I-Falls 15, Proctor 7

Saturday Proctor picked up their lone loss of the week to even the Rails' record at 4-4.

This game was considered a home game for the Rails, but it was played at UMD.

I-Falls scored four runs in the top of the first inning and five runs in the top of the seventh with a scattering of runs in between to dominate offensive play in this outing.

Proctor posted a lone run in the second and sixth innings, and five runs in the bottom of the third...
