PROCTOR -- Nick Nylund threw a three-hitter and had 10 strikeouts as Proctor defeated Crosby-Ironton in a non-conference baseball game. Nylund, normally the Rails' catcher, made his first start as a pitcher. He allowed one earned run in seven innings pitched. He allowed one walk and two hit batsmen along with the three hits.
Justin Scanlon was three-for-four with two triples and two RBIs to lead the Rails.
