The Hunters scored nine runs in the bottom of the first inning and went on to win in Proctor. Denfeld's home game had to be moved because Wade Stadium is not playable.

Winning pitcher Cory Messel allowed three hits and struck out nine. John Rodberg and Bob Baxton each had two hits for Denfeld, 1-2. John Randby drove in three runs.
