PROCTOR -- In the regular season's finale, Proctor defeated Greenway, 11-10 in eight innings, in a non-conference baseball game here on Friday, May 28. Sam Johnson, who doubled to lead off the inning, scored the winning run with the bases loaded and no outs in the eighth when Cooper Johnson reached base on a fielder's choice error.

Grant Walker (7-0, 2.31 ERA) earned the win by tossing one and one-third innings of relief pitching. He allowed zero runs on one hit and one walk with no strikeouts.

Proctor took a 1-0 lead in the third when Nolan McLeod walked with the bases loaded. The Rails went up, 3-0, in the fourth on a two-RBI double by Tanner Olson.

Greenway went ahead, 5-3, with a five-run fifth. The Raiders had five hits and a sacrifice fly and took advantage of two Proctor errors in the inning.

Proctor plated five in the sixth for an 8-3 edge. AJ Reyelts (ground out), Kennan Reyelts (sacrifice fly), Nick Terhaar (single), and McLeod (triple) each had an RBI in the frame.

Greenway took the lead again with a five-run seventh. This time the Raiders had three hits and two walks with two Proctor errors.

Conner Pavlowich scored on a wild pitch and AJ Reyelts scored on a passed ball in the seventh to force an extra frame.

Greenway had the bases loaded with one out in the eighth before shortstop Conner Pavlowich snared a line drive up the middle and converted it to a double play to retire the Raiders.

After Sam Johnson's double in the bottom of the eighth, Conner Pavlowich was intentionally walked and AJ Reyelts reached on a single. Cooper Johnson hit a slow roller down the first base line and the ball was misplayed to end the see-saw game.

Proctor starting pitcher Kennan Reyelts allowed one earned run on nine hits and one walk in four and two-thirds innings.

Conner Pavlowich was 2-for-2 with three runs, McLeod was 2-for-3 with a triple, a run, and two RBI, Josh Monreal was 2-for-5 with an RBI, and Sam Johnson was 2-for-4 with a double and three runs to lead the Rails' offense.

Proctor finished the regular season with a 12-8 record.
