PROCTOR -- Proctor defeated Moose Lake-Willow River, 11-1, in a non-conference baseball game here on Thursday, May 27. The game was called in the bottom of the sixth inning due to the 10-run rule.

Winning pitcher Jake Amendola (3-1, 5.35 ERA) went all six innings for his first career complete game. He allowed one run on four hits and three walks with four strikeouts. Amendola retired the side in order in the third, fourth, and fifth innings.

Proctor took a 1-0 lead in the first inning on an RBI triple by Tanner Olson. The Rebels answered with a run in the second on two hits and two walks.

The Rails scored six runs in the second frame on two hits, two walks, and two Rebels errors. Nolan McLeod had a two-run single to cap the inning's scoring.

Proctor padded its lead with two runs in the third. AJ Reyelts had an RBI single and Olson hit into an RBI groundout.

The Rails' bats were silenced for the fourth and fifth, but the sixth started with a walk to Olson, who was lifted for courtesy runner Carson Pavlowich. Pavlowich advanced to second on an errant throw on a pickoff attempt, and scored on an RBI single by Kennan Reyelts. Reyelts was erased on his attempt to take second base on the play. Then, after the second out was recorded, Amendola singled. He advanced to third on Tanner Ross's hit and scored the walk-off run on Wyatt Okstad's RBI single.

ML-WR drops to 4-15.

Proctor, 11-8, hosts Greenway on Friday, May 28, to conclude the regular season.
