ELY -- Proctor (#4) defeated Two Harbors (#13), 10-1, in the first round of the Section 7AA Playoffs here on Tuesday, June 1.

Grant Walker (8-0 W-L, 1.96 ERA) allowed one unearned run on nine hits, one walk, and two hit batsmen for the complete-game win. He had two strikeouts.

Two Harbors scored in the top of the first on two hits, a walk, and one Proctor error.

Proctor evened the score in the first on an RBI double by Tanner Olson.

The Rails went ahead with two runs in the third, which included an RBI single by Kennan Reyelts and a sacrifice fly by Nolan McLeod.

Proctor plated two more runs in the fourth inning which included an RBI double by Conner Pavlowich.

The Rails then pulled away with five runs in the sixth. Kennan Reyelts had an RBI single, Josh Monreal connected for a two-RBI double, and Blake Imhoff capped the scoring with an RBI single.

Imhoff batted 3-for-4 with a run and an RBI and Kennan Reyelts was 2-for-4 with a run and two RBI to lead Proctor's offense.

Losing pitcher Brjen Jones allowed five runs (four earned) on seven hits, six walks, and one hit batsman in four and two-thirds innings. He had two strikeouts.

Two Harbors ended its season with a record of 9-12. Proctor (13-8) advanced to play the winner of the #5 Eveleth-Gilbert vs. #12 Crosby-Ironton game which followed in Ely.
