ESKO -- Esko defeated Proctor, 13-3, in a non-conference baseball game here on Tuesday to cap a three-team set. The Eskomos scored 10 runs in the top of the fourth to break a 3-3 tie anc cruise to the five-inning, 10-run rule victory, Coach Ben Haugen's 250th career win.

Proctor took a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the first on an RBI single by Tanner Olson, but Esko responded with a run in the top of the second.

Proctor scored two runs in the second, once when Sam Johnson reached on an error for an RBI and on an RBI single by Kennan Reyelts. Esko knotted the score with two runs in the top of the third.

Esko sent 15 batters to the plate in the fourth. The inning featured nine hits--including four doubles--and three walks off four Proctor pitchers, with two Rails errors.

Winning pitcher Sam Haugen tossed all five innings. He allowed three runs (two earned) on nine hits and zero walks with three strikeouts.

Esko's Joey Antonutti (3-for-4, run, RBI) and Sam Haugen (2-for-4, double, run, two RBI) led the 12-hit attack.

Olson and AJ Reyelts had two hits apiece for Proctor.

Losing pitcher Grant Walker (1-2, 5.48 ERA) allowed nine runs (six earned) on eight hits, one walk, and one hit batsman in three innings. He had one strikeout.

Proctor, 8-2, is at home against Mesabi East on Wednesday, May 11.
