PROCTOR -- Nick Terhaar and Tanner Olson combined on a shutout as Proctor defeated Mesabi East, 8-0, here on Friday. Terhaar (4-2, 1.40 ERA) pitched six innings and allowed six hits and three walks with eight strikeouts for the win. Olson retired the side in order in the seventh with two strikeouts.

Blake Imhoff’s two-run single gave Proctor the lead in the first inning.

Olson led off the bottom of the third with a triple and scored on Sam Johnson's RBI single for a 3-0 lead.

Proctor plated three runs in the fourth. Tanner Ross led off with a double and advanced to third on Kennan Reyelts' ground out before scoring on Terhaar's RBI single. Wyatt Mineheine, Terhaar's courtesy runner, stole second and scored on Ethan Carter's infield hit. Carter advanced to second on the play and subsequently moved to third after an intentional walk to Olson and a conventional walk to Johnson before scoring on a passed ball.

Ryan Schubitzke hit a two-run triple in the fifth to cap the scoring.

Olson was 3-for-3 with a triple and a run. Johnson, Ross, Reyelts, and Terhaar had two hits apiece. Imhoff and Schubitzke had two RBI apiece.

Proctor finished the regular season with a 12-7 record.
