PROCTOR -- Proctor defeated Two Harbors, 5-0, in a non-conference baseball game here on Monday. Nick Terhaar and Tanner Olson combined on a one-hit shutout. Terhaar (2-0, 0.00 ERA) allowed one hit and one walk with 10 strikeouts in six innings. Olson retired the side in order in the seventh.

Two Harbors was the home team due to wet grounds in Two Harbors. The Agates threatened first, with the bases loaded on two errors and a walk with no outs in the second inning, but Terhaar managed a strikeout, a pop out, and a strikeout to snuff out the opportunity.

Blake Imhoff's two-run single with two outs in the top of the third inning plated Tanner Ross and Dylan Davidson, Olson's courtesy runner, for the game's first runs. The Rails added two more in the sixth. Terhaar scored on a throwing error and Kennan Reyelts's sacrifice fly plated Sam Johnson. Olson scored the game's final run in the seventh on Ryan Schubitzke's sacrifice fly.

Ross and Imhoff led the Rails' attack with two hits apiece.

Losing pitcher Thor Tokvam allowed four runs (one earned) on five hits, three walks, and two hit batsmen with four strikeouts in five and two-thirds innings. Tokvam had the Agates' lone hit, a single in the first inning.

Proctor, 4-1, hosts Superior on Tuesday, May 3.
