AITKIN -- Aitkin defeated Proctor, 10-0, in a non-conference baseball game here on Wednesday. The game was called with two outs in the bottom of the fifth inning after a two-run triple gave the Gobblers a 10-run margin.

Aitkin scored two runs in the first, three in the second, one in the third, two in the fourth, and two in the fifth. The Gobblers had 12 hits.

Sam Johnson had two of Proctor's three hits.

Grant Walker (1-4, 5.25 ERA) was tagged with the loss. He allowed eight runs (seven earned) on 10 hits and one walk with one strikeout in three innings.

Proctor, now 11-7, concludes its regular season on Friday at home against Mesabi East.
