PROCTOR -- Duluth Denfeld defeated Proctor, 3-1, in a Lake Superior Conference baseball game here on Tuesday.
The Hunters scored two runs in the top of the first inning on two hits and a hit batsman.
Proctor got its run in the first inning when Blake Imhoff led off with a double and scored from second when Tanner Ross reached on an error.
Denfeld scored the game's final run in the sixth on two hits.
Imhoff batted 3-for-4.
Tyler Berglund (2-2, 2.13 ERA) took the loss. He allowed three runs on nine hits and a hit batsman with three strikeouts in seven innings.
Proctor, 7-5, is back in action on Thursday. The Rails host Grand Rapids at 4:30 p.m.
