12/21/2020 - Flick, Harnell Join Rails Career Records Clubs

Mason Flick and Ben Harnell gained inclusion in a few of Proctor Baseball's exclusive career records clubs. Flick is now in all four of the pitching clubs while Harnell placed in one hitting club.

Flick qualified for the "3.00 BB/7 Club" for averaging less than three walks allowed per seven innings pitched, the "50.0 GSA Club" for averaging greater than 50.0 in pitcher game score, the "15.0 PPI Club" for finishing in the top 10 in fewest pitches per inning, and the "60% FPS Club" for surpassing 60.0 percent of first-pitch strikes to batters. Harnell qualified for the ".300 GPA Club" for having a gross production average greater than .300.

Flick registered 1.89 walks allowed per seven innings pitched (BB/7), which ranks third on the all-time list. He is the 11th member of the all-time 3.00 BB/7 Club.

He had a 61.3 starting pitcher game score average, a statistic that quantifies quality starts. Proctor Baseball began tracking this statistic in 2004. Flick ranks fifth on the list and is the 10th member of the club.
