Larry Michael LeBlanc

Larry Michael LeBlanc, 82, lifelong resident of Proctor, passed away peacefully while surrounded by his loved ones on Saturday, June 9, 2018. He was born June 18, 1935, in Duluth to Edmund and Hannah LeBlanc.

Larry spent a number of years running his own business, LeBlanc Oil Company. He enjoyed all things outdoors & treasured trips to his cabin on Leech Lake. He had many favorite activities throughout his life such as hunting, fishing, boating, trap shooting, snowmobiling, playing cards & bocce ball & making sausage. He excelled in athletics & was a lifelong member of the Masonic Lodge & Moose Lodge. He loved BSing with friends & had the best one-liners. If you knew Larry, you knew he was one-of-a kind & "full of wisdom".

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Ed & Hannah (Skar) LeBlanc; his brother, Pat LeBlanc; sister, Sharon Mooney; son-in-law, Dan Sibbert; and special friend, Dee Sneen.

He is survived by his step-mother, Mary LeBlanc; children, Cher Erickson, Jim (Pam) LeBlanc & Lynn Gellatly; his six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; sister in-law, Lois (Tootie) LeBlanc; many nieces and nephews; and his special friend, Joan Miller.

Family & friends will gather to celebrate Larry's life on what would have been his 83rd birthday, June 18th from 3-6pm at the Pit Stop in Proctor.
