PROCTOR -- Duluth Denfeld defeated Proctor in a Lake Superior Conference baseball game, 11-6, on Tues., May 20. Denfeld was the home team at Proctor due to the unavailability of Duluth's Wade Stadium.

Denfeld's starting pitcher Ryan Rukavina worked four innings for the win. He allowed one unearned run on one hit, two walks, and two hit batsmen with three strikeouts. Tanner Richy led the Hunters' with three hits and three RBIs. Derrick Winn and Alex Larson had two hits apiece for Denfeld.

John Aase had two hits and scored twice for the Rails. Jake Malec was tagged with the loss. He allowed six runs on four hits and four walks in two innings. Aase was effective in relief, allowing one run on three hits and no walks with four strikeouts in three and two-thirds innings.
