Central Nine Beats Rails To Reach District Finals
Central gained the finals of the District 26 high school baseball tournament with a 9-2 victory last night over Proctor in a game played as a preliminary to the Duluth Dukes-Grand Forks Chiefs game.
Johnny Arthur and Wayne Johnson gave up only five hits between them for the Trojans who meanwhile gathered 11 off Tom Bernard.
Pete Henrickson led the Central attack with three singles, and Swanson chipped in a single and a triple...
