...Ron Main hurled one-hit ball as Proctor nipped the Morgan Park Wildcats, 1-0, at Blackmer field. The Rails' pitcher whiffed seven Wildcats while Mike Marnich clubbed the only hit off Main when he slapped a triple in the last of the fifth with no mates on the bases.

Two Morgan Park errors helped the Rails score their lone tally in the first half of the first inning.

Rails Take Fourth Straight Win; Enter Tourney Tuesday

...Traveling to Morgan Park Tuesday, the Rails were gunning for their fourth straight win, and came home successful, winning 1-0.

Proctor netted their run in the first inning on two hits and an error and it looked as if they might get more, but a snappy double play ended the scoring threat.

One run was all Ron Main, the Rails' hurler, needed as he blanked the Wildcats on one hit in going the distance. In the last 14 innings that Main has pitched, he has given up but one hit...
