Lumberjacks Wallop Rails
CLOQUET -- Cloquet, led by Bob Pollard's bases loaded triple in the third inning, drubbed Proctor, 10-1, in a high school baseball game here yesterday.
Although they got nine hits, the Rails were only able score one run off the Cloquet hurlers, Forrest and Harmala.
Forrest hit three-for-four and Pollard was three-for-five.
Breemeersch got two of the Proctor hits and Frank three others.
Cloquet, which now has a 3-1-1 record, plays Duluth East here in the opening round of the District 26 tournament this afternoon.
