No-Hitter Fashioned By Longsio
Righthander Dave Longsio fashioned a no-hit, no-run gem in the Big Nine Baseball Conference Friday when his Duluth East Nine shut out Proctor, 7-0, at Ordean field.
Longsio struck out 12 and walked only three. His control was excellent. Only one Proctor runner got as far as third after a walk and an error. The Greyhounds only had to make two outfield putouts.
