Rail Baseball Team Fades in Stretch

...The Proctor nine opened its conference slate at Silver Bay and returned from the North Shore with a 7-2 victory. Joe Lane pitched a three-hitter, struck out 17, and had two hits to pace the win. Bob Strom with two hits and Jerry Wedlund. with a home run, also sparkled for Proctor.
