TH Agates Hand Rails 1st Loss
Lightly regarded Two Harbors struck a serious blow to Proctor's Big Nine Conference title hopes Wednesday, whipping the Rails, 6-1, at Wheeler Field.
The loss was the first of the season in Big Nine play for Proctor after three straight triumphs. The Agates evened their loop record at 3-3 with the victory.
Curt Johnson's steady four-hit pitching paved the way for Two Harbors. The southpaw hurler struck out seven and walked only two in the seven-inning contest.
Johnson also started the Agates' scoring parade in the first inning, blasting a two-run triple.
