Two Harbors Chronicle and Times, July 17, 1947

The Agates squared their two game series with the Proctor Rails Tuesday afternoon at Horace Johnson Field when they trimmed Proctor 14 to 6 behind the six-hit twirling of Gustafson. Two Harbors collected 13 hits off the Proctor pitcher to tally in every frame whereas Proctor could only score in the third and fifth stanzas.

Gustafson and J. Anderson led the locals' hitting attack with three safeties, with Miller, Hoganson and R. Giddings getting credit for two hits respectively.
