Greyhounds Grab Pair Of Victories

Duluth East swept right into a three-way tie for the lead in the Big Ten Conference high school baseball lead with a doubleheader victory at Ordean Field Friday.

The Greyhounds dealt losses to Hermantown 4-3 and Proctor 4-2. The Hawks have only one victory in the loop. Proctor has suffered six reverses without victory...

...The Greyhounds opened up fast in the second game, scoring four in the first and then holding the line against Proctor.

Rick Tyllia was credited with the victory after hurling four innings. Rick Enrico pitched the last three. Proctor scored one run in the first inning and another in the fourth.

[Curt] Oberg led the attack with two hits, a single and a double. Terry Egerdahl struck three of the Rails' six hits...
