East Uses Heavy Wood In Victory

East put wood on the ball to move into the District 26 tournament as the field was completed with three playoff games in high school baseball Thursday.

The Greyhounds, who went 11 innings to edge previously undefeated Central Wednesday 1-0, pulled away fast to whip Proctor 11-2 in one of two games played at Wade Municipal Stadium Thursday.
