...Randy Mackereth and Bill Moen provided the power hitting in Proctor's win while Jim Merling got the win on the mound. Blaine Muckala added a pair of singles for the Rails with Nathan Kolaski [sic] coming up with two doubles for Moose Lake.

 

Lakers drop game to Proctor

Moose Lake was defeated by the Proctor Rails 4-2 last Friday. The Lakers trailed throughout the game and both teams played a rather aggressive game.

The winning pitcher was Jim Merling and the loser was Terry Carlson. Steve Holt was the local starter but was relieved in the fifth inning by Carlson.

Nathan Kolosky had the hot bat for the Lakers as he went 2-for-3 with two doubles and scored one run ...
