Rail nine topples Wildcats

Dan Seguin knocked in the deciding runs in the top of the seventh inning Thursday to power Proctor to a 5-3 Lake Superior Conference baseball win over Morgan Park at Wade Stadium.

Proctor had taken a 2-0 lead with a pair of runs in the second, but the Wildcats tied it with two in the fourth. Seguin made it 3-2 for Proctor with an RBI single in the fifth, but Don Dzuck tied it in the bottom of the sixth with a single following a hit batsman, a base hit and an error. Seguin then drove in the two clinching runs in the seventh.

Proctor raised its LSC record to 2-6. 4-9 overall, while Morgan Park dropped to 4-3 in the league.
