Proctor rolls

AURORA -- Five-run third and fifth innings gave defending Region 7AA baseball champion Proctor an easy 12-5 triumph over Aurora-Hoyt Lakes Thursday in the season opener for both teams.

Mike Grover led the Rails' attack with a solo homer in the third. Dale Nikko was the winning pitcher, striking out 10. Mark Erickson was charged with the loss, but A-HL committed six errors behind him.
