Barry Midthun hit a two-run homer in the top of the ninth inning to give Denfeld-Morgan Park the Lake Superior Conference victory.

Midthun also singled in the run that tied the game 3-3 in the seventh and sent it into extra-innings.

Todd Murtley was the winning pitcher. He worked 5 1/3 innings and gave up one run. He struck out eight.
