PRINCETON -- The hitters came alive for the Princeton baseball team Saturday as the Tigers shelled Proctor 15-3 in five innings.

Leading the hitting onslaught was senior right-fielder Steve Holbrook, who was 2-for-2. His two-run homer in the bottom of the second inning highlighted a seven-run outburst. The Tigers scored eight in the first inning in the win, their third straight.

Junior right-hander Mickey Branschaud made his first varsity start, striking out seven for the Tigers.
