Trojans' Lange no-hits Rails

Dave Lange pitched a no-hitter and struck out eight as Central routed Proctor 11-0 Wednesday in a Lake Superior Conference game at Wade Stadium.

Paul Kennedy drove in four runs on two hits, and Gordy Meagher had two hits and scored twice for the Trojans, now 6-7.

Central scored six runs in the third inning for a 7-0 lead and added three in the fourth on Kennedy's bases-loaded double.
