Lee Stephenson scored on an error in the eighth inning to give Proctor an extra-inning win over Central and the Sub-Region 2 championship at Egerdahl Field.

Randy Fietek, with three hits in the game, tripled to score Mark Slattengren in the sixth inning to give the Rails a 3-2 lead, but the Trojans tied the score in the bottom of the seventh on an RBI single by Matt Brown, scoring Paul Kennedy.

Steve Makitalo scattered six hits for the win. Losing pitcher Brian Anderson threw a four-hitter and struck out seven.

Proctor plays the Sub-Region 3 champion at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at Grand Rapids in the Region 7AA tournament.
