Jeff Erikson singled in Mark Slattengren in the bottom of the seventh to lift Proctor to the win at home in a South sub-Region 7AA quarterfinal game.

Erikson, who had two of Proctor's five hits, drove in the Rails' first run and scored on Mark Kieren's triple in the sixth.

Rick LaLonde pitched a six-hitter and struck out five for the win.

Proctor, 9-7, plays Princeton at 2:30 p.m. today at Cambridge.
