Cambridge built a 4-0 lead with single runs in the second, third, fourth and sixth innings and went on to defeat Proctor in the South sub-Region 7AA championship game at Cambridge.

Jeff Viner singled in the Rails' only run in the seventh.

Cambridge, which defeated St. Francis 5-3 in the semifinals, got three hits and six walks off losing pitcher Lee Stephenson, who struck out five.

Both teams advance to the Region 7AA tournament Tuesday at Princeton.
