Mark Slattengren's two-run single highlighted a seven-run third inning as Proctor won a non-conference game at North Branch.

Slattengren went 2-for-3 and scored twice. Todd Vanneste, Bill Bergstrom and Jeff Viner drove in two runs each for Proctor, 3-1.

Scott Jezierski went the distance for the Rails, allowing five hits, walking five and striking out seven.
