PRINCETON -- Princeton battled back to tie in [the] bottom of the seventh inning, then won in the eighth inning on a Curt Wilson base hit.

In the eighth inning, senior outfielder Craig Talberg led off with a base hit to center field and sophomore shortstop Troy Kinney bunted him to second. An intentional walk to sophomore second baseman Matt Skarohlid followed and senior catcher Erik Schmoyer popped out.

Wilson, a junior third baseman, then lined a base hit down the left-field line to score Talberg with the game-winner.

In the seventh, Schmoyer was on third and senior designated hitter Dan Dale was on second with one out. Sophomore center fielder Paul Lepler attempted a suicide-squeeze bunt but missed the ball. A run-down ensued and Schmoyer ended up scoring on an overthrow to home plate. Dale scored from second to tie the game.
