PRINCETON -- Troy Kinney pitched a complete game and went 3-for-3 at the plate as Princeton defeated Proctor 5-3 in the Region 7AA quarterfinals.
Kinney also scored twice, drove in two runs and stole a pair of bases.
Teammate Jason Oakes was 2-for-3 with three runs scored.

Grand Rapids, Virginia gain 7AA semis
Grand Rapids, Virginia-Mountain Iron-Buhl, Princeton and Cambridge won Region 7AA quarterfinal high school baseball games Thursday and will advance to Tuesday's semifinals in Grand Rapids.
VMIB improved to 21-1 with a 5-2 victory over Duluth East at Virginia. Brent Lamppa's two-run home run and Garett Plotnik's seven-hit complete game paced the Blue Devils.
