Proctor 11, Mora 7

It was anything but a pitcher's battle when the Rails headed south to the home field of the Mora Mustangs Friday.

Proctor wasted little time in jumping all over Mora in the top half of the first inning, as 11 Rails' batters stepped up to the plate before the Mustangs could dig up the third out. Proctor scored six runs in the first.

Blake Reinke led off the first inning and scored the first run. From there the Rails saw Kyle Wojtysiak, Dan Carlson Jesse Frick, Chris Hansen, Dan Solarz, and Dustin Wiita score.

Two more runs were added in the top of the third, including the run that would prove to be the game winner. Wojtysiak led off the third with a left field double. Carlson followed with a center field double to send Wojtysiak home. Hansen added a one-base hit to center field to drive home Carlson.

Proctor started out the seventh with Wiita being hit by a pitch to get to first base. Scott Lustig earned a free ride to first with a walk. Seth Reinke hit a hard single resulting in a pair of RBI's for Reinke and the 10th and 11th runs for Proctor.

Mora scored twice in the third, four times in the fourth, and once in the seventh.

...Carlson...pick[ed] up the win.

Seth and Blake Reinke, Wojtysiak, and Carlson all had two hits each.
