Mora 7, Rails 2

In a home game last Fri., April 29, against the Mora Mustangs, the Rails fell 7-2. Mora scored in innings 1, 3, and 4, while the Rails got on the board with two runs in the fifth. Then it went back to Mora scoring in the 6th and 7th for the win, 7-2.

Kyle Wojtysiak went 2-for-4 with one run scored. Dan Carlson had two RBIs.

"This [game] was disappointing after having won three in a row. We focus on three areas each game in order to win - pitching, defense, and hitting. If we can get at least two out of three we usually should win. In this game, we didn't get the pitching or the hitting and so we didn't get the win we needed for section play," explained [Coach] Rohweder.
