Rails edge Central 5-4

Dan Carlson hit what turned out to be the game-winning run with a solo homer with one out in the bottom of the seventh inning to edge fifth-ranked Central.

Paul Michelizzi and Rob Martimo both had solo home runs in the game for the number-four-ranked Rails. Kyle Wojtysiak was the winning pitcher who went [one] inning...in relief of Carlson.

"Going into the game, we knew that we were going up against a good Central team," Rohweder said. "In addition, we knew that we were among the only three teams left in the LSC that was undefeated, which included Central also. I was very pround of our effort and ability to find a way to win the game in the end after giving up the lead in the sixth inning. Our guys had hot bats the whole game with some very timely hitting all game long."

Central drops to 3-4. The Rails improve to 5-5.
