Casey Morsette went 4-for-4 with a double and two RBIs to lead the Agates at home.

Friday's game was a different story. Kyle Cotrell did his job of throwing strikes. The defense did not do its part, however, and several errors led to too many Agate runs. The Rails hitting stayed sharp, but no one could deliver the big hit to put a crooked number on the scoreboard although several chances existed. Proctor did not lose to Two Harbors as much as the Rails beat themselves by not having consistent execution in two of the three major factors of winning baseball.

...But all good things must end, and the Proctor team found itself on the wrong end of a 7-1 score after a next-day game at Two Harbors. The Rails threatened, recording nine hits, but couldn't finish the job. Agates pitcher Lowell Hanson coming up big when needed most and the TH outfield robbing Proctor of several potential chances with big catches.
