Preview Recap
Proctor Rails 10, Two Harbors 0

PROCTOR -- Proctor defeated Two Harbors in the first round of the Section 7AA baseball playoffs. The game was shortened to five innings due to the 10-run rule when Ryan Rands hit a pinch-hit two-run walk-off double with no outs in the bottom of the fifth inning.

Winning pitcher Alex Oachs (6-2, 2.79 ERA, 47.2 IP) allowed one hit and one walk in five innings pitched. He had eight strikeouts. Oachs became the first Rails pitcher to record six wins in a season since Steve Makitalo in 1984.

Should the Rails win that game they would play at 7:30 p.m. at Wade Stadium on Thurs., June 3, against the winner of the middle game between International Falls and Cloquet.
