PROCTOR -- Alex Oachs pitched a complete game to lead Proctor over Greenway in a non-conference baseball game at Proctor. Oachs (1-0, 3.00 ERA) allowed three runs on seven hits and three walks. He had four strikeouts. Oachs was making his first start of the season after sustaining a knee injury last fall.
 
Proctor had built a 4-0 lead after three innings, but Greenway pulled to within 4-3 with a three-run fourth inning. Proctor added one run each in the fourth and fifth innings, and tacked on three more insurance runs in the sixth inning.
 
Proctor centerfielder Ian Scherber was three-for-three with a double, two RBIs, and two stolen bases. Proctor second baseman Justin Scanlon was two-for-three with a triple, three runs scored, and an RBI.
 
Losing pitcher Alex Troumbley worked five innings. He allowed two earned runs on six hits, two walks, and a hit batsman. He had four strikeouts.
 
Bazil Zuehlke had two hits for Greenway.
 
Proctor is now 6-0.
