Chris Nylund pitched a six-hitter, striking out eight as Proctor earned the 7AA playoff win over Duluth Denfeld at Wade.

Brian Zuck was 4-for-5 with an RBI and three runs scored. Troy Warren was 2-for-3 with a double. Matt Fietek broke open the game with a two-run double in the four-run sixth inning. Fietek was 2-for-3 with two RBIs and Brian DeDominces scored three runs for Proctor, 5-12.

Jesse Berglund had two hits for Denfeld. The Hunters, 7-12, scored four runs in the fourth inning and one in the sixth.

Proctor plays at Cambridge at 4:30 p.m. Thursday.
