Nathan Smith pitched a two-hitter and struck out six to lift host Cambridge to the Region 7AA quarterfinal win.

Proctor's Brian Zuck broke up the no-hitter in the seventh.

Nathan Carlson had two doubles and Jason Ziebarth hit a two-run homer for Cambridge (13-8).

Brian DeDominces scored in the seventh inning for the Rails (5-13).

Cambridge plays either Grand Rapids or Duluth East in the semifinals Tuesday in Cloquet at 8 p.m. Grand Rapids and East had their game postponed by rain Thursday and the teams will meet at Ordean Field a 1 p.m. today.
